Lance’s Picks of the week

Movie: Thirst

Thirst is a vampire movie unlike any you’ve ever seen. It’s definitely NOT Twilight or the crappy vampire romance movies/TV series. Ultra-realistic with a gripping

storyline, Thirst is one of the best vampire movies ever. You can read Amped Asia’s full review of Thirst here.

Drama Series: A Man Called God

A Man Called God is primarily action and adventure and relies less on the soap opera dramatics of the typical Korean drama series. That is why I really liked A Man

Called God. Also the series has some super hot babes, Han Go Eun and Han Chae Young. You can read Amped ASia’s review for A Man Called God here.

Track: Tae Yang – I Need a Girl

It’s Tae Yang, he needs a girl, yadda yadda. Haha. A great song that has vocals from G-dragon and also appearances by the cutie Sandara Park on 2ne1. Great music video

as well.

Krazoom’s Picks of the Week

Anime Series: Monster

Ominous, I truly love a dark gloom filled animes. Monster is a series about a doctor that is being framed for the murders of dozens of families by a patient he once

saved from death. Thus the doctor goes on a mission to prove his innocence, protect the sister of the murderous patient and kill the one that is framing him. This show

probably isn’t for the faint of heart as it evolves loads of blood. Squeamish be warned.

Drama Series: Will It Snow For Christmas

I still can’t remember how I was introduced to this series but I’m glad I was. The show stars Go Soo and one of my favorites Han Ye Seul from “Miss Gold Digger”. Goo

Soo plays Cha Kang Jin, a troubled teen with a barmaid mother. As such Kang Jin grew up protecting his mothers honor by fighting. When the family moves to the mothers

old neighborhood Kang Jin falls in love with a girl named Han Ji Wan who is the black sheep of her noble family. After a terrible accident involving Ji Wan’s brother

the two part ways but reunite some years later and from there the tragic love triangle (actually more like a quad) begins. It’s really one of those shows that will

keep you glued to your screen. I promise to anyone this show will NOT disappoint and if it does you can punch me.

I can’t find a trailer, so this fanmade MV will have to suffice.

Track: HINOI Team – Night of Fire feat. Koriki

I absolutely loved this Japanese group! Unfortunately they disbanded several years ago but their music is still pretty damn epic. Night of Fire is a cover of a Euro

beat song. For the track HINOI Team collaborated with some weird wrestler impersonator O_o.. Still his bits add some comedy to the song and that’s what makes it great.

Interestingly enough I really don’t like this para para genre of music but HOINOI Team was one of a kind.
