My 10 Favorite Asian Love Songs

If you’re looking for a good love song, then look no further than this list. These songs were chosen using a variety of criteria including the song’s

popularity, lyrics, and artist. We’ve also embedded a YouTube video so you can listen to it. The list is in no particular order.

Love Love Love – Epik High
When this came out I absolutely loved it. The female voice adds a unique flair to the song and coupled with Epik High’s great rapping, the song really caught

my attention. I also could really relate emotionally to the lyrics in this song.

Go Hae – Lim Jae Bum
The main thing that attracted me to Go Hae was the singer’s voice. His deep, husky voice made for an incredibly soothing tone that drew me into this

song. Unfortunately I couldn’t find a version of this song on Youtube that was subtitled.

Tong Hua – Guang Liang
This song obviously had to make the list because it is so popular in the United States. I love the lyrics and the piano instrumentals of the song. A very

beautiful piece by Guang Liang.

First Love – Utada Hikaru
Everyone’s had a first love and this song can bring a gushing of memories. This song is one of those magical songs that can hit an emotional heartstring. The

fact that it is sung by Utada Hikaru is another reason why it’s so great.

Because I’m a Girl – Kiss
A sad song that was made popular because of it’s music video. Take a look at the music video; you might even shed a tear.

My 10 Favorite Asian Love Songs

Lies – Big Bang
This song is more catchy than anything. Korean bands such as Big Bang are very unique because they know how to combine different types of music together (ex

– rapping and singing) to make songs unique. G-dragon, the lyricist, created some great lyrics in this song.

Lovesick (Saranghalee) – FT Island
A very emotional song that I could personally relate to. Although I’m not a huge fan of FT Island, this song is their one song that I do really like. The

male singer’s unique vocals and the instrumentals really make this a special song.

Simple and Clean – Utada Hikaru
Another Utada Hikaru song, this time it is the opening to Kingdom Hearts, one of my favorite games. Simple and Clean is simply just a great song that

popularized Utada Hikaru in the states after her failed US debut.

Have You Been Good Lately (Ni Zui Jing Hai Hao Ma) – SHE
SHE comes out with some ok stuff, but I’ve never liked them too much. However, this song was particularly catchy and had interesting lyrics.

I Think I Love You – Byul
I Think I love you is on the Full House OST. This might be the song that really made Full House into the worldwide phenomenon that it is. It fits so

perfectly to the series. Absolutely loved this song and I loved the drama Full House as well.
