Pictures that Show Why We Love Lucy Liu

We love us some Lucy Liu and you should too. Read on to find out more about the lovable Lucy Liu.

She has been an an angel, a cold blooded devil, and everything in between. Lucy Liu is an actress that has been able to play just about every character imaginable and have you fall in love with her.

The Chinese born New York native got her start at the age of 19 when an agent discovered her traveling on the subway. From that point on she would hustle every which way possible to the then limited roles available for Asian American performers in the 1980’s.

Liu would make appearances in hit shows such as The X-Files and Hercules: The Legendary Journey until she finally landed her breakout role as Ling Woo on the popular legal dramedy Ally Mcbeal. The show would become a staple of the late 1990’s and helped launch stars such as Calista Flockhart and rejuvenate future Iron Man Robert Downey Jr.

The role was written specifically for Liu after she auditioned for the role of Nelle Porter. Writers of the show loved her so much they wrote in a role for the up and coming Liu. The success of the show and Liu’s performance would gain her mainstream media attention and even a Primetime Emmy Award and Screen Actor’s Award nominations.

Following her success on the small screen, Liu would transition into popular big screen franchises like Charlie’s Angels, Kill Bill, and Kung Fu Panda.

While she continues to conquer the movie industry, Liu has made a return to her T.V. roots and currently appears on the Sherlock Holmes based crime series Elementary as the character Joan Watson, a character typically associated as a male only role.

However nobody should be shocked that producers felt Liu could tackle such an unorthodox choice in casting, since as Liu’s track record has proven she can play any role and get viewers to love her interpretation.

We can’t say enough about how much we love us some Lucy Liu so we will leave these pics to do the talking.

Foil just got fun again!

When she told us decorating in our bedroom in monochrome white was a good idea we didn’t believe her. But now…

Ravishing in red.

We really hope this is a legit Feng Shui reason to have Liu in our bedroom all the time.

If you didn’t have enough reason to love her, here’s the best one: FLAMETHROWER!

No…I’d say we are good..
