The NFL draft is happening in little under month and with it comes a tremendous amount of attention and fanfare for the prospective players. The draft helps sets the tone for the upcoming season in which teams and players alike will be judged. Whether they are praised or prosecuted throughout the season is anyone’s guess at this point. One thing is certain though, we have criminally under-appreciated the hard work and talent of women on the sidelines making the giants of the gridiron push for that extra yard, run in that touchdown, and endzone dance their asses off. Here’s to the lovely cheerleaders that remind us why we watch sports. It isn’t for the men in their uniforms but for the women.
