Jayd Lovely sounds like a pornstar name, and you’d be right, because this beauty used to be a pornstar. However, she’s past those days and now she’s looking to become one of the best glamour models in the business (but if you google her, you might still get a few *nice* results). We got a chance to shoot some video and photos of this lovely girl when she came to visit Austin, TX.

AmpedAsia.com: Tell us a little bit about yourself.
Jayd Lovely: My name is Jayd Lovely. I’m 27 years old. I am Vietnamese and French. I was born in Portland Oregon, but grew up in Los Angeles, and now I live in Phoenix, Arizona.

AmpedAsia.com: What do you do?
Jayd Lovely: I used to work as an adult model, but I moved on from that, and now I only do [modeling] in fashion, commercial, and beauty. I got tired of the adult industry and I decided to move forward from that and expand my portfolio.

AmpedAsia.com: What started you in adult modeling?
Jayd Lovely: I had already worked behind the scenes, working for an adult company, I was in charge of hiring models. I then realized I could do both, so that’s when I started working in front of the camera and behind.

I’ve also been a model since I was 17. Mostly doing car shows and trade shows.

AmpedAsia.com: Is Modeling your full-time job?
Jayd Lovely: Yes, it is my full time job. I do trade shows in Vegas, but I’m also doing commercial and print.

AmpedAsia.com: What are your tips for models?
Jayd Lovely: Network! Give out your business cards. Always do a good job everytime you’re on a photoshoot because referrals are your best marketing tool. Also try networking through ModelMayhem or OneModelPlace. Also try signing up for an agency and seeing if you can get any work from there. Lastly, go to conventions in your town, talk to the vendor booths and pass out your resume and portfolio.

AmpedAsia.com: Are you doing anything else in the entertainment field?
Jayd Lovely: I’m focusing on modeling right now, but I am taking some acting classes so I can expand my horizons and start taking speaking roles and commercials. But I’m not a good actress! Haha.

AmpedAsia.com: What is a typical day like for you?
Jayd Lovely: I wake up, usually work out. Then I check my e-mails. If I have a photo shoot then I make sure I plan accordingly, get my outfit ready, and prepare for the shoot. Otherwise I will just relax and maybe go online and network or find casting calls.

AmpedAsia.com: What do you like doing for fun?
Jayd Lovely: Going to eat! Going out to new restaurants. I’m a Yelper so I’m always on Yelp. I also like running, boating, and surfing.

AmpedAsia.com: Are you single?
Jayd Lovely: I am… not single!

AmpedAsia.com: What are some traits you would like in a relationship partner?
Jayd Lovely: Open communication. Open mindedness. Support. I love it when we can motivate each other.

AmpedAsia.com: If you could give a dating tip to a guy, what would it be?
Jayd Lovely: Make sure you open doors and be polite!
