Miss Gold Digger Review
Shin Mi-Su is a pretty girl who just wants to find the perfect man. To do this, she decides to lead on four different guys with different personalities. One guy is a rich man who buys everything that Mi-Su desires. Another is a talented rapper who shows her how to have a good time. One man is an ambitious student who wants to pass the bar and become a district attorney. The last is her responsible neighbor who also happens to work with her.

Miss Gold Digger is a coming of age story about realizing what true love really is. Although she has control of all her men, she realizes how unhappy she is despite having her every need taken care of. I really liked the premise of the story because it's rare to see a movie about a woman who's the player, but unfortunately I thought that the movie could have been funnier. They had the right idea but wrong execution.

The movie dragged on for a long time with Mi-Su just having weird random dates with each of the men. Most of these dates are pretty boring with the exception of the dates with Jun-Seo, which were just plain disgusting (because he behaves like a loser). Although the beginning did peak my interest just because of the interesting storyline, the middle and end of the film made me incredibly bored.

Mi-Su, played by Han Ye Seul, is a complete spoiled brat. She plays the role perfectly because Mi-Su is not much different than her role as Na Sang Shil in Fantasy Couple. Han Ye Seul is somewhat of a fake and extreme actress, and therefore she fits this role perfectly because Mi-Su is also a fake person. Han Ye Seul is gorgeous in this movie as she is in real life. If you're a Han Ye Seul fan, it may be worth it to watch this movie just for her because she is almost in every single scene.

The other supporting actors were all subpar. The only guy that is worth mentioning is the rich entrepreneur. He played his creepy rich-guy role pretty well. Son Ho Young, the singer, also makes an appearance as the rapper. His character was probably the least developed which was a disappointment considering he was probably the best looking suitor for Mi-Su.

I recommend this movie only to fans of Han Ye Seul because I personally wasn't very entertained for most of the movie. It had a few laugh out loud moments, but other than those, there wasn't very much value to Miss Gold Digger.
