Fantasy Couple Review
This series is also known as Couple or Trouble and Couple of Fantasy.

Jo Anna, though young and rich, is selfish, inconsiderate, and hard to deal with. After arriving to Korea with no escort to take her home, Anna drives herself in the pouring rain and gets stuck in a muddy ditch. Jang Chul Soo, who is passing by, stops to help her by shoveling the mud so her car can get back on track. As Anna waits in Chul Soo's car, she notices something and concludes that Chul Soo is a murderer. In an attempt to escape this "murderer," Anna takes a shovel to defend herself from Chul Soo, the "killer." After a bit of struggle, Chul Soo is knocked unconscious by Anna, and is left there on the road as she frantically drives away. Of course, there was a misunderstanding, but Anna, being an elegant rich-girl, will never admit it and thinks that the two will never meet again. Upon arriving at her destination, Anna is merciless to her resort employees and her wimpy husband, Billy. With constant ridicule and firing, the staff is upset as well as Billy, who would just love to be free of his wife's criticisms. Well, their wishes come true after a serious argument between her and Billy that causes her to storm out, get drunk, and fall off her yacht. Her sudden "death" relieves the fears of the employees and even her husband (who's now rich) at the resort, however can such a "witch" die so easily? Getting treated for almost being drowned by a "crazy woman," Chul Soo speaks of getting revenge on the woman who has caused him great grief within the last days. To his surprise, his wish can come true, as the woman is also a patient of the hospital, suffering from amnesia; this woman, being Anna. Taking her in as his "lover," Na Sang Shil, Jang Chul Soo plans to take revenge by making her work her butt off doing household chores and learning some manners. However, what starts out as revenge becomes much more than Chul Soo bargained for.

Boy, oh boy, what a witty story. Of course, you wouldn't expect less from the writers of My Girl. Fantasy Couple has everything a series needs. It has drama, it has romance, and most importantly, it has comedy. There was absolutely nothing in this story that was disappointing. A hardcore rich woman being tamed by a goody two shoes guy who's willing to do any job for money; honestly, how could you beat that? And a married woman living in a house with a single male who doesn't know anything about her?! Please, don't tell me that there's no zest in it. Really, this story has everything that won't disappoint.

Who said a model can't act, huh? Well, whoever said it was wrong for Han Ye Seul acted like a pro as Anna Jo/Na Sang Shil. Her character had spunk and the spark of cleverness that at first seemed intolerable, but later rubbed off to the point where you couldn't stop watching her. Oh Ji Ho, who plays Jang Chul Soo, is the perfect model of a man with a good heart. On top of that, he's a pretty awesome handy man as well, working any job that's asked of him. Oh! Did I forget? He's drop dead gorgeous too. Kim Sung Min is Anna's husband, Billy Park. His character is kind of feminine and a bit irritating, but he plays a crucial role of bringing Anna back from Chul Soo. His assistant, Gong Sil Jang (Kim Kwang Kyo) is absolutely hilarious. It could just be his appearance, but his presence is delightful. Oh Yoo Kyung (Park Han Byul) is Chul Soo's exgirlfriend who's set to marry and go off to America. Her role is the interfering party between what may be growing between Anna and Chul Soo. She's quite mischievous even though she looks angelic. The other frequent members of the cast are Kang Ja (the town's mental girl played by Jung Soo Young), Deok Ku (Chul Soo's friend played by Kim Jung Wook), Deok Ku's mother (Lee Mi Young), and Chul Soo's nephews Jang Joon Seok, Jang Yoon (Lee Suk Min) Seok (Kim Tae Yoon), and Jang Geun Seok (Park Joon Mok).

Fantasy Couple is sixteen episodes long. Sixteen episodes of fun, fun, FUN!

Well, I've pretty much touched on this already, but this series provides drama, romance, and comedy. There was probably more comedy overall because each episode made me laugh at some point. The romance was complicated like with any love triangle story. There were points where you felt like you wanted to hit someone or just reveal everything to the character that didn't know what was going on only to be disappointed because they live a life in the screen. So yes, there was drama since romance and drama pretty much go together.

Music…the music was kind of happy. Well, one of the songs has the word "happy" in it, so it best describes the music. The music kind of goes along with achievement and victory which really suits the story since each character had to overcome hardships in order to be successful in some way. The OST isn't really that great, so this is probably one of the weaker parts of the series.

This one of the stories that I would love to reccomend. The story was well developed and the actors really captured the characters they played. There wasn't a single moment where I wanted to stop watching. It was really that enticing. Two thumbs up, baby. Just grab some time to watch and see whether these two leads from different levels of the social ladder will become a Fantasy Couple.
