Everybody has a Secret Review
Han Mi-Young has just dumped her boyfriend and is now on the lookout for any hot men that might pass her way. She meets the suave and incredibly debonair Su-Hyeon at the club that she sings in. Immediately, the two of them get engaged to be married. However, Mi-Young's two sisters also come to like Su-Hyeon, who seems to be the perfect man in every aspect. Then, Mi-Young's boyfriend comes back to beg her for her love. Soon, it seems like everyone is torn between lovers; except for Su-Hyeon, who seems to be enjoying his time with all the women.

There were some parts to this movie that were quite confusing. Before watching the movie, make sure you understand that the story doesn't happen in a linear fashion, and flashbacks occur throughout. These flashbacks allow the storylines between each girl and Su-Hyeon to be revealed subtly. Personally, I thought this was a great plot device that revealed the backgrounds of each of the girls.

I thought this movie was incredibly immoral, but it was still interesting. It addresses issues such as cheating and loving more than one woman. Two women actually sleep with their sister's boyfriend. Despite being immoral, the ending sums it up as though all the bad things that happened actually helped each of the characters. Although this ending was sufficient at wrapping up the story, it gives an unethical message.

Although there are several sex scenes, none of them are graphic and the sexual content is mild. Still, the movie is rated at least PG-13. But the message that the movie gives is highly negative, so I wouldn't really recommend letting children watch this.

I thought the female characters weren't very attractive at all, and a movie of this genre (sexual comedy) fails without sex appeal. Lee Byung Hun is mediocre in his role, but he doesn't really portray a large variety of emotions. His character, in the middle of the story, can be seen as malicious since he plays with the hearts of three girls, but the ending makes you think that he's some good-guy that helps people mend relationships. Choi Ji Woo stands out in her role since she is probably the best looking out of the three sisters and she is also the most developed role. Choi Ji Woo and Byung Hun also had the best chemistry throughout the movie.

If you are looking to watch a sex comedy, then this movie might be right for you. I wouldn't recommend this to most people just because the story is a bit immoral and there are lots of unrealistic plot lines. If you are a fan of Lee Byung Hun or Choi Ji Woo, then you should give this movie a chance. It's definitely not the worst Korean movie, but it's also not the best either.
