Stevie Hoang Biography
Stevie Hoang's musical influence came from the help of his parents when he was 11 when they persuaded him to take piano lessons.
When he turned 16, he wanted to sing but had difficulty developing his voice. Instead, he took a music technology courses at college and started learning how to make beats and write songs. From that point on, music played a big part of his life.
By the time he turned 19, he was signed to a record label as a music producer making songs for some of the biggest urban acts at the time. After working with many great vocalists, he began picking up vocal techniques and slowly started improving as a singer.
With his success on the rise, he moved himself to the social networking site, Myspace where his popularity sky-rocketed beyond his expectations. He was averaging over 5000 plays and 3000 new hits a day which propelled him to the top of the MySpace artist charts in both the U.K and U.S.A. He also began to appear on a number of other websites such as YouTube, where his fans would post their home made videos of his songs. Over time, Stevie was attracting new fans of all races and ages.
With a huge fan base and following on myspace and youtube, his debut album 'This is me' is set to become a huge success. Stevie Hoang is rapidly emerging as the first major Chinese artist to breakthrough with his unique R&B and oriental sound.
