Lee Ji Hoon, known as the "Prince" of Korean pop, is one of the most versatile Korean artists. He has released five albums and has appeared in Korean movies like Lovely Rivals and Korean dramas like Wonderful Life with ex-girlfriend Eugene and Hello! Miss with Lee Da Hae.
He made his debut in the Korean pop music industry in 1996 with the album entitled Rhythm Paradise in which his debut single Why the Heaven became an instant hit. This hit single puts him on top of the Korean pop charts and made him one of the top-selling singers. It earned him honors by achieving awards like First Place in the best songs category and Best New Artists from different award giving bodies.
In 2003, he teamed up with Kangta and Shin Hye Sung to form a group called S, and in 2004, he made a solo comeback with the release of his album Trinity. He took Japan in a storm with his first solo concert in 2006. During the performances, he showed his proficiency in Japanese with a collection of Japanese songs. He even received a standing ovation when he sang The Eagles' "Desperado," to his own piano accompaniment.
Lee Ji Hoon, who currently plays the role of Hwang Dong Gyu in Hello! Miss, showcased not just his acting talents, which has quite improved from his previous dramas, but also his singing prowess.
