Lee Dong Wook is a South Korean television/movie star who got more popular due to the famous teen drama, My Girl. His popularity even soared higher with his latest movies Arang and Choi and Kang Romance.

He has always dreamed of becoming an actor and has been into a number of TV dramas since he started his career in 1999. His first movie, Country Girl’s Love Story, was made in 2004. His horror movie Arang had grossed more than 1.2 million viewers last year in South Korea and has been the top grosser in Taiwan and Thailand. Lee Dong Wook’s hard work in the movie’s promotions has helped in the success of the movie in Korea and other Asian countries. His latest movie Choi and Kang Romance, a romantic comedy, has grossed more than 700,000 viewers after a few days in theaters and is expected to exceed the 1 million viewers mark.

Lee Dong Wook has also starred in a couple of music videos: Monkey Kiz’s Bye Bye Bye and Spring Summer Autumn… Winter by SooHo, and together with his co-star Hyun Young sang Choi and Kang Romance’s OST. In addition, he has been modeling for both print media and TV commercials, and met a minor accident during one of his photo ops due to his love of sports.

“Milky Boy”, as he was fondly called by fans due to his milky white complexion, makes funny remarks in many of his interviews because he wanted the conversation to be fun, smooth and never awkward. During one of his interviews, he cited Jeju Island as his favorite place to visit and would like to visit Boracay Island when he got married which will be in 10 years time.
