Biography
Kim Jong Kook is a singer popular in South Korea. He was originally a part of the two-member singing group named "Turbo." The group rose to popularity as one of the best dance groups of its time due to their catchy beats and the high-pitched voice of Kim Jong Kook.
Kim Jong Kook became a solo artist in 2001. He has frequently been ridiculed for his extraordinarily high voice, often being compared to a mosquito. Ironically, he is also known as one of the "manliest" men in the K-pop industry due to his strength training.

From his appearances on these shows, it was rumored that he and actress/singer Yoon Eun Hye are a couple. He has also previously been connected with K-pop queen
Chae Yeon.
In 2006, Kim Jong Kook was sent to his mandatory military service. He will be released on May 29th, 2008.
