This book-smart hunk, said to have an IQ of 140, showed his language skills when challenged by the media during one of his visits in Taiwan. He was taught a Taiwanese song and for about three minutes of practice, he was able to sing the song perfectly well. His academic credentials include admission to the prestigious Seoul National University to study dentistry but dropped out of college to pursue acting and Japanese languages in Chung-Ang University, where he is now in his final year.
He is back to wearing the white doctor’s coat but this time as an ambitious, two-faced surgeon in the new Korean drama Witch Yoohee, a contrasting role from his first serious role as a prince in the manga-based romantic TV drama Goong. He gets inspiration for his acting from mangas which he loves reading. His final dream is to become a renowned movie director.
