Kim Hee Chul Biography
Kim Hee Chul is one of the more notable members of the Korean boyband, Super Junior. He is well known for his feminine look and unique charm.
In 2002, he was signed under SM Entertainment after auditioning with the
Starlight Casting System. The original plan was to put him, Kangin, Yun-ho, and Hero Jaejoong into a band called "Four Seasons," but that plan was scrapped when SM decided to put Hero and Yun-ho into a band called DBSK (or TVXQ).
With the Four Seasons scrapped, SM put Kim Hee Chul and Kangin in the band, Super Junior, along with about 10 other trainees. They wanted to debut a large band with many members, each with their own unique talents. The band debuted in 2005.
After their debut, Hee Chul became famous for his on-screen persona. Despite not being a good singer or dancer, Hee Chul was featured on many Korean variety shows for his straightforward and truthful answers that were very humorous for watchers.
After his debut in Super Junior, Kim Hee Chul went on to many TV roles including Sharp 2, Loveholic, Rainbow Romance, Bad Family, and Golden Bride.
