Kim Bum, a South Korean actor and commercial model, has a number of great acting credits under his belt at a young age. Born on July 7, 1989, he is currently emerging as one of the new generations of Hallyu stars.
Today, he is popularly known throughout the world as So Yi Jung of the Korean F4 fame. But prior to the KBS 2009 drama hit
Boys Before Flowers a.k.a.
Kgotboda Namja, Kim Bum exuded his acting prowess in the 2008 MBC drama East of Eden as the teen Dong Chul. He also acted in the 2006 MBC dramas
Outrageous Women and
Unstoppable High Kick.
Added to his acting credits are the 2008 movies
Gosa and
I Like It Hot, wherein he gained attention from zealous Korean netizens when he kissed Wonder Girls’ member Soo Hee in the movie.
Currently, he was working on the SBS drama entitled
Dreams to be aired sometime on September 2009, and the movie
Emergency. On recent news, he dropped the movie
71 due to conflict of schedules.
Kim Bum, on an interview said that if he has a girlfriend, he would like her to cook and pack a nice lunch box for him, which he can enjoy during a busy shooting schedule.
