Jun Jin Biography
Jun Jin (born as Park Jae Joong) is a South Korean singer most popularly known as a member of boyband Shinhwa. He is one of the rappers of the group, along with Eric Mun and Andy Lee, but he also frequently has singing parts. He has since then started a solo singing career with his solo album released on November 18, 2006.
Jun Jin's father is singer, Park Young Chul. His father divorced his mother when Jun Jin was a young boy. Jun Jin was raised primarily by his father's third wife, who also reconnected Jun Jin with his birth mother. His rough childhood led him to seek something new, and he was recommended to sing by his friend Ahn Chil Hyun (KangTa). He renamed himself from Park Jae Joong to Jun Jin, which means "to advance."
He was signed by SM Entertainment to their band, Shinhwa, which has since then become one of the longest running and most successful bands in Korean pop history. Due to his popularity, he was also able to act in a few TV series, most notably,
Nine-Tailed Fox with Kim Tae Hee.
