Jiro Wang Dong Cheng Biography
Jiro Wang, a member of the Taiwanese boy band
Fahrenheit, is widely known for his lead role in the Taiwanese drama
KO One and his supporting roles in the dramas
It Started with a Kiss as
Ah Jin and
Hana Kimi as
Jin Xiu Yi.
He was the first discovered among the four members of
Fahrenheit and first appeared in the drama
The Pawnshop No. 8. After
KO One aired and despite its low ratings, his record label HIM International Music decided for
Fahrenheit to release their first self-entitled album in 2006. The boy band enjoys successes in Taiwan and their popularity also soared even to Hong Kong, Mainland China, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, as well as the rest of Southeast Asia.
Jiro Wang, just like the other three members, represents a season or temperature that corresponds with his personality. He represents the hot summer season at the Fahrenheit scale of 95 degrees. Compared to the rest of the band members, his vocal ranges has a higher voice, closer to a more tenor approach, and is the most distinguishable out of the four because of its nasal sound.
It was claimed that he will be reprising his original role in the sequels to
It Started with a Kiss in late 2007 and
Hana-Kimi in 2008.
