Edison Chen Biography
He is a popular Hong Kong actor. However, he was born in Vancouver, Canada, and because of this, he doesn't have a complete grasp of the Chinese language. He move to Hong Kong and became a cantopop singer after failure to land a successful singing career in Canada or the United States. Since then, Edison has become very popular in China, landing several movie roles including Twins Effect and Infernal Affairs II. He also has many endorsements including Levi and Samsung.

In 2008 Edison was involved in a sex scandal where nude pictures of him with several high profile Hong Kong female celebrities were leaked onto the net. Due to this, he released an apology as well as promised that he would leave the entertainment industry indefinitely.
