Daniel Wu Biography
Daniel Wu is an American-born actor who became well-known in the Hong Kong movie industry. He debuted in 1998 and has been featured in over 40 films.

Wu is primarily known for action roles. He took an interest to Martial Arts at an early age and has trained in Wushu ever since. Film was not a focus of his life until he attended the University of Oregon, where he started taking acting classes. He also founded the University of Oregon Wushu Club.

Wu's entrance into the entertainment industry came at the suggestion of his sister, who persuaded him to start modeling. After being featured in a few ads, he was approached by film director, Yonfan. Since then, he has been in over 40 films.

His latest film is a collaboration between him and Jackie Chan entitled Shinjuki Incident and is expected to be released in Hong Kong theaters on September 20, 2008.
