Did you know, S. Korea has the biggest church building in the world? I would definitely go see that! There are plenty of ESL job boards you can check out, S. Korea has the biggest job offers for ESL Teahcers. Or you can consider Peace corp or College Programs that offers Teaching in Korea. Monterey International Institute is one,...ou should check it out. that's what i'm in the process of doing right now.

Wow, I am so thankful for these information....Actually, I am a Computer Engineering graduate currently working as a Technical Support Representative based in the USA. I need to get some course to teach..right?...But I really love to be there teaching Koreans how to speak the language with an accent...hehe....

Once I'm there, I will look for a church where I can stay and learn the Word of God....are you a Korean Christian too?..

Again, tenks sooo much..

Muchos gracias...Gamsa Hamnida..

I would love to go to that church in Seoul. I didn't have the opportunity while I was there...Sad

You do have to get English Teaching Certification, but it's not hard. There are lots of reputable online courses, and my sister and I are thinking about taking one. She is actually going to tutor english there next year. It will be easy to get a job because there is huge demand for English teachers right now, it's a craze.Clapping Especially since the new president recommended that people start learning English...Smile

RE: Working in Korea

I've heard that they still prefer Caucasians to teach English; so even if you were born or raised in a native English-speaking country (UK, US, Australia) finding a teaching job is going to be tough. I'm Australian of Asian descent and I want to experience working in Korea too, but given their preference for Caucasians I know I will have a hard time looking for a good job.

RE: Working in Korea

it shouldn't be hard to find a job in KR or JP. The demand for English and Korean base speaking is essential.
