Question?
You mentioned Caucasians have priority, do all foreigners or is it partial to just them? Specifically as a Black American I would like to know the success rate for Black American that speaks Korean to find employment in Korea.

If you have a Bachelor's Degree, you should be able to at least get work as an English teacher there. ^_^

Any Bachelor's degree? As long as you can speak good english? One of my professors said that Korean journalists receive pretty good salary. BUt then of course, I need to learn Korean first.

I heard English teachers make a pretty good salary in Korea and they get their housing paid?

Citizens of any country where English is the official language (US, Canada, Australia, UK, South Africa, etc) generally get ~$2,000 a month, paid housing, and paid airfare (both ways). They definitely prefer caucasians though. If you are asian (even if you're not Korean), you might have trouble getting a job as a native speaking English teacher. But most hagwons work with a partner system - one foreign (AKA white) teacher and one korean teacher. If you are an American- or Canadian-born Korean, you'd probably have better luck looking for a job as a Korean English teacher (assuming you speak Korean) - but generally the Korean teachers don't get housing or airfare. Good luck!

Whoa!!! that's a lot!!! and there are fringe benefits, too!!! Too bad I'm not a caucasian coz yeah that salary is a lot higher than here in my country, like x4 to x8 depending on the job position... Rolleyes
