Synopsis

Ma Yoo Hee (Han Ga In) is a beautiful and successful career woman in her twenties but with absolutely no talent when it comes to love. She is the only daughter of the owner of an advertisement company where she works as an advertisement planner. She has an independent personality and is called a 'witch' for her exactness in taking care of business. Although Ma Yoo Hee is a successful careerwoman, she doesn't have much romantic experience. She went to the States to study, and comes back to Korea to impress her first love Yoo Joon Ha (Kim Jung Hoon).



Chae Moo Ryong (Jae Hee), an aspiring chef with an absolute sense of taste, becomes the love coach of Ma Yoo Hee and eventually changes her life.



Jhonny Crooger (Dennis Oh) is a famous French Chef from New York. He despises that his stardom overshadows his cooking and concentrates only on his cooking in Korea. He will play the matchmaker between Ma Yoo Hee and Chae Moo Ryong.



Yoo Joon Ha (Kim Jung Hoon) is an ambitious surgeon with whom Ma Yoo Hee has been in love with for a long time. Yoo Joon Ha is a cold-hearted character who is capable of betraying his most precious love for success. Though he is an ambitious two-faced character, he is a bad guy in the sense that his weakness stems from his strong desire for success.



Nam Sung Mi (Jeon Hye Bin) is the beautiful, kind, clever and ernest girlfriend of Chae Moo Ryong who, unlike Ma Yoo Hee, puts marriage in the first place.

This is the first Korean Drama I have ever watched. Its very well made. Both Jae Hee and Dennis Oh are very fine looking.

I've only seen three episodes so far but it looks very promising.

I'm watching episode 7 now and I find the series amusing and interesting. It also doesn't hurt that two of my favorite actors are here, Dennis Oh and Kim Jung Hoon, are part of the cast. Hehe!

An update for you guys...

All episodes have been uploaded and you can d/l it from the link I've provided two posts up. The videos are in MQ but I will be providing HQ for those MQs wherein the subs don't jive with the audio.

I have fun watching this series and looking forward to the release of the remaining English subs. I highly recommend this, especially if you are a big fun of My Girl and Delightful Girl Choon Yang. The makers of these dramas are the same ones who created Witch Yoo Hee, so, it's a sure thing that you will have a fun time.

Aside from that, the stars of both dramas made a come back for this drama like Jae Hee which was Moo Ryong in Delightful Girl Choon Yang. He's name is also Moo Ryong here! lol He also appeared in the last of episode of My Girl! lol His father in Delightful Girl Choon Yang is also his father in this drama, who also appears to be the boyfriend of Seol Gong Chan's aunt in My Girl! lol

The male friend of Yoo Rin in My Girl is also in this drama. He's the little brother of Moo Ryong. Another will be Ma Yoo Hee's father who happened to be Gong Chan's grandfather in My Girl.

There are lots of familiar faces and great performances here, not to mention Kim Jeong Hoon who was part of Goong/Princess Hours which happens to be the rival drama airing in the same timeslot during the runs of the latter episodes of My Girl in Korea!!! lol

... and I absolutely love the food. The plating is very artistic and I bet it tastes good as well. I believe, the casts like Jae Hee and Dennis Oh, trained with the best chefs/best restaurants to come up with an authentic performance. I'll be posting the food images served in this drama for a mouthwatering snapshots and more spoilers on my next post! lol

Oh My!!!! I LOVE THIS SERIES!!!!! These producers are the best!!! I loved both Delightful Girl and My Girl. It's funny that tyou mention how so many people in this series are from Delightful and My Girl, b/c I just re-watched My Girl and realized that Moo Ryong from Delightful Girl is there at the end... Had I watched Delightful Girl first I would have caught it, but I watched My Girl first so they were not familiar at all... I think it was a great idea... I loved it!!!

But I'm really enjoying Witch Amusement and I did get a kick out of him having the same name... I thought it sounded familiar...

Anyway, thanks for uploading, you're the best... also the food does look yummy... I get hungry just watching... and the thing is that it looks like a work of art every time!!!!
