Boredo Wrote:well Mac overall is better in my opinion..if I could go back in time and rechoose my laptop it would be a Ibook. Less chance of gettin viruses and spyware and IMO better software included. The system runs better also. Oh well, I've taken good care of my Laptop for almost two years, no spyware, viruses and pop ups. Runs clean.
Things seems to just work on a Mac, I had an external hdd that won't get detected on XP and I tried to plug it in my macbook and it works. A DVD that I burned on my PC won't get recognize put in my macbook and it works.
Mac's are for the Arts (i.e. music, pictures, graphics, etc.) and are awsome. Almost everything new that Vista has is something Mac's already had before. The reason people use Windows is because of games and compatability of software. Mac's are much moe user friendly as well, but most people still haven't figured out how to double-click with them (btw. double clicking is control+click). If the Mac would ever come out with a gaing console it would kick everyone else out the water with graphics and game play.
mac is the best choice, but if you are not use to it like myself, i would prefer a pc. but i wanted to animation so i would need to learn how to use a mac, overall, mac gives you more and a pc you have to buy a lot more.
i prefure widows 1 reson is that when my famaly got there first comp it was windows so iv goting to like windows over the year of it being in the house
i've been with windows all my life, and the few times i have had a chance to use mac, it's heaven...less pop ups, bugs, viruses, etc. etc....way better
Mac laptops are HORRIBLE! >.< I used to have one and when my dad offered to buy me a new one I smashed it. But for desktops overall I think macs are better.
