mac's notebooks are more sexier also <_<

You can make any operating system GUI sexy. Have a look at the Desktop Showroom in the Picture Forum.

RE: Windows vs. Mac?
I have heard that Macintosh is going to release the G-5 which has a 16 gb ram. Now that is a LOT of ram. In my opinion, macs are good for media related activities such as editing a video. However, since windows are more user friendly and simple to use, windows,in my opinion, is the better out of the two.

16 gig ram? that alone would spike the price...but a beast comp then

RE: Windows vs. Mac?
I respect both products despite Microsoft stealing Mac's ideas of interface and navigation.

I've used both products and I believe Windows is better because it is much more common internationally.

Instead of going through with negatives, I'm just going to go with the positive differences.

Windows is much easier to learn for beginners and more custom computers utilize Windows. There are more hardware products sold to customize PC's with Windows than there are with Macs.

Mac on the otherhand, upon purchase, the CPU contains everything to make the Mac run smooth. Designing graphic arts with Mac is a lot better than on a PC. (well that would be in my own opinion)

I have only used Mac once or twice. I feel comfortable using Windows though. Most people use Windows because it's easier to use.

I totally agree with you on that part.

Nobody hacks Macintosh systems nor are Macs at any risk of online worms that can mess up a Windows OS.

Eh...Linux is like a whole new language. I remember my teacher once said, "You would have to be 100% geek to fully understand Linux and make stuff out of it" Big Grin
