Okay this girl that I've met we were just randomly walking in the halls, and we were going up the stairs, and she said.

"You should stop skipping school, stay in school, and stop smoking."

I asked her why, and how she knew I did drugs.

And she looked me in the eye telling me that it was pretty obvious from the way I act, and dress. She has also seen me talking to a few stoners she has talked to, but the weird thing is, she's never done the same for any of the stoners she knows. She tells me that smoking is bad, and that she is healthier than me.

I've never talked or had a important conversation with her, but I was conversating with one of her friends, and I saw her looking at me interested.

A few times this year, I saw her staring at me, or having a glimpse at me.

The weird thing is she's different from all the girls in NY.

As for her knowing I skip school, I always hang around the hallways and I guess she sees me. My question is why would she tell me that? What would benefit her from telling me stuff like that?

And would she be someone that I should ask a number from, so I could get to know her more?

I don't think its anything to worry about even though she is right about one thing, skipping school and smoking are a bad habit to possess. It doesn't help you in the long run too.

I'm sure she does care (not sure in which way) but I'm sure she is just warning you for the consequences.

Even if you don't quit smoking because that is your preference to quit or not, but skipping school will lag you from graduating. Much less, if you were to live in the U.S, your parents will get in trouble for your own actions. Which will result in jail time for them.

Perhaps, if she didn't say anything, you should think about what your habits is considered best for you. Will it help you in the long run? Who will suffer the consequences besides you?

Well honestly we cant tell you because we dont really know the story intimatley if you know what i mean but imo shes probably friends with your friends (the stoners you talked about) and just doesnt want to see you get hurt or go down the path other people have. But none the less go for it and ask her out

She probably does have feelings for you, but is conflicted because you do stuff that she doesn't approve of.

Yes this girl definitely seems to be interested in you... as long as you stop skipping school and doing drugs. No one wants that kind of guy for their partner. You should go ask her out.

Weird... I talked to her again, and I told her I think she is a cool girl, and I'd to know you better, so I was asking her if she wanted to hang out sometime. She said I don't know. So I guess she doesn't like me or anything.

Hmm.. Maybe she's just unsure, because she might be wary of 'hanging with the wrong crowd'? (no offence) I think you should just talk to her a bit more and earn her trust before inviting her out? =/ Hope that helps..

I think, if you can, catch her when she's on her own...
If you can't find her own her own, approach her with some friends? or ask to talk to her on her own for a while. Then you can tell her, during your conversation, that you want to get to know her more and and ask for her number because she is leaving on Tuesday - a way of staying in contact...
But I think you might have to 'get to know her' and talk to her a bit more if you two aren't very close yet.
