why can't i play

can anyone tell me why can't i play what i download in windows media player. can you tell me please?

you probably don't have the right codec to play. What seems to be the error? Does it say invalid file type? Does audio play but video not play?

I think you should dl vlc, vlc can play all video and audio files types..also subtitle too..

i'm facing this problem too. what is codec actually n how to hv it? yes...only the audio played....

I did have the same problem as you guys. What I did was d/l RealPlayer and made it my default player so now I can watch my vids, either .avi, .wmv or other video files, with no hitch.

Weird, my reaplayer cant seems to work on some movies like 200 pound beauty, it says my realplayer needs to download some new software and asked if iwould like to, but when i say yes it cant find any file to update it -.- Any suggestion? o and dont u have to pay for that vlc player -.-
