RE: Who has visited Japan?
I have...when I was younger...

It was a pretty big deal for me because I live in a small European country(Croatia) and traveling so far is very rare. I loved it. But I don't remember much. The thing I remember the most was when we visited some sort of amusement park. I'm sorry I can't provide more information. But I am planning on going again. Looking forward to it too... Smile

RE: Who has visited Japan?
I only went to Hokkaido during winter and it was beautiful. My holiday coincided with the first snow and everything looked magical! Great food (seafood, quirky sweets and snacks) and good service. At least a little basic conversational Japanese would be helpful especially if you can't read kanji or aren't on a guided tour.

I went to Japan before, actually just went there like a month ago. Most of the things there are pretty expensive. Its really fun though. Chickendetermined

RE: Who has visited Japan?
Japan is one of the nicest places I've been to but I dont really enjoyed tokyo...it is too crowded, too many people and bad traffic. I preferred the more less city-like places, like Nagano. Im amazed by how clean the place is and a trip to the supermarket is a total bliss and eye opener! Warning though - apparently fruits are gems in Japan...a FUJI apple will slash you down by about 8 bucks (SGD)! And of course, dont ever miss the 'onsen' (public bath). Its embarassing to go naked in front of the many others at first but you will soon get over that cause the hot and cold dips are just awesome!
