tokyo!! although i stayed in yokohama, i went to tokyo alot when i visited, and shibuya and harajuku are really fun places! harajuku is seriously a shopping spot for teens, idol fans and lolita x3
shibuya has soooo many shops as well, and a really cool karaoke place...well theres more than one of course, but theres one in shibuya that i really like cuz it has SO many songs, including english songs and its all on this remote touch screen pad thing. haha i found it so amusing x3

i only visited japan by airport..hehhehe..does that count?? i never really went out into the streets, but stayed at the airport while waiting for my next flight.

I had the opportunity to backpack in Japan last year in June. Stayed there for a month and definitely, was the best month of my life. Japan is great, fun, and you'll always find something to do. Given it is not a cheap place to vacation, hence, backpacking it. You won't regret it. I stayed in Tokyo a lot and travel to Kyoto. My favorite place has to be Shibuya. But if you also would like the traditional side of Japan, Kyoto is also a popular must place to swing by. For those who like shopping, you’re in heaven. But save up, because you'll pretty much want to buy everything you see. (And I don't mean those little Souvenir trinkets). Also, be prepare to party your ass off, cause the clubs run pretty much till 5am, sense it would be rather difficult to get back to your hotel, or hostels when the subway closes at 12am. (My hostel was 30 mines away from the big metropolitan districts)......Next summer, Korea....
