i would get ps3 because i think theres alot more better games on it then wii. the only downside of ps3 is that both the system and the games are expensive..and you can't burn their games X p

I love the Wii I think its more versatile, plus all the games for Wii have my favs. games like mario and zelda

Wii is more targeted to casual gamers and attracts a lot of people ranging from kids to old people. However, don't expect very good graphics as the system wasn't built to do that. What you'll get is a different gameplay because of the use of wiimote. In my opinion, the game line-up isn't that good but there are some good games coming up.

PS3 on the other hand has very good graphics and you can use it as a blu-ray player. With the release of MGS4, the game line-up of this console is looking good. Lots of people are saying 2008 is the year of the PS3 which I think is true.

Bottomline is, if you're after a different way to play games and don't mind the graphics so much, then buy a Wii, if you're after multimedia capabilities and good graphics then buy a PS3

The PS3 have awesome graphics as you all know, but the Wii helps keep you in shape while playing games!!!! You will definitely not make a bad choicce at all!!!!!They're both great console to have!!!!!

if you want a true gaming experience get the ps3 but if you want to excersise get the wii your choice i recommend the ps3 it also has motion sesors in the controller

well, if you dont have a 360, i would seriously suggest getting a ps3, if you have it and have the extra cash a wii is a good call, my G/F luvs the stupid wiigames that it has.
but seriously, after the first 3 days youll stop playing any of those games cuz those games are like, only for casual players. you turn the console on play for like 15mins then i can assure you WILL get bored!! xD

I would say it depends...cuz wii has diff sort of games then ps3. If you love kiddy and cool mario games then Wii FTW! If you want games such as Final fantasy and metal gear solid then Ps3 FTW! it all depends

I mostly use xbox360 and ps2 still. Gonna get a wii for my kids for christmas and will play games like no more heroes myself. I'd only get a ps3 when it gets better games, at the moment the games aren't any different to xbox360. Except for metal gear 4, which looks awsome.

There's not much to compare between these two machines.
They are very different.
Wii is very inovative, makes everyone wants to play it.
PS3 in the other hand is built as a complete next-gen entertainment system.
The one close enough to compare with PS3 is X360.

But, as a gaming console, i chose Wii.

if you want realistic graphics, then go for the ps3. if you want "hands on" kinda games (can be very tiring lol), go for the wii.
