I believed each countries have their own styles of plot and drama in their drama series.

Korea - Korea's dramas are very emotionally and brotherly-sisterly love type of drama series. I have to say, Korean's drama series have the most pretttiest actresses ever! The drama series tend to be more family orientiated and love-triangles.

Japan - I haven't watched a Japanese drama series before, so I have no comment.

Taiwan - No comment

China - Same as mainland China, right? China has okay series. The drama series tend to be ancient or shanghi type of plot. When China companies produced a drama series from a book, the plot is altered completely, which I hate!

Hong Kong - Many types of time drama, from the ancient to 70s to modern. I believed most of Hong Kong's drama series are produced by TVB. TVB has the tendency to produce sequels to high-rating series and using the same main cast. Couple pairings are odd, young and old. Argh. Series lack creativity and new founded storylines.

korea has the best definitely

i think is taiwan because now almost every series they do is a big hit. and im not that into korean since almost all their series are the same like triangle love all the times and taiwan series eventhought they have triangle love its not that much of a bother. i also like thai series too it always give me these happy feelings.

I've only watched Hong Kong dramas because I don't like watching series with dubbing or subtitles. Both are a big letdown. I'll take your guys word that Korea has good storylines, and lately I've heard rumours that HK is stealing all the plots from Korean Dramas, and then adding a HUGE complication in them. But because I've only watched HK dramas.. I'm going to make a biased vote (:

Korean and Taiwanese are by far the best especially the ones which are romantic comedy.  And its shorter compared to Latino countries and the Philippines, which took months even years to finish. Well, the trend in the Philippines is changing.

Only complaint though is the subtitles...  And if I watch the dubbed version which is the trend here in Philippine TV, some of the cultural terms and stuffs are not included for a typical Pinoy to understand, ex.: in Goong when Chae Kyeung is teaching Yul about the common terms for Korean foods when dubbed it only say something like "combo meal 1"   not to mention the character names are converted to Western names!!!

i used to watch HK dramas in the past as the story plots are kinda interesting and most leading actors and actreses acted quite well and they possessed charisma.. but nowadays i switch to taiwan and korean dramas coz i really enjoy most their romance comedy shows..

So far I like the Korean drama...have seen a couple of chinese drama and they are not too bad.

I'd say...Korean!! I'm no korean myself, and I don't even understand korean, but I love their series!!

It's a hard choice! I love korean dramas but they're so repititive which is kinda yeah.. ~.~. I love the Japanese language ahah sounds mad. Taiwanese dramas have good stories i guess well the ones i've watched are good.
