RE: Which Asian language is the easiest to learn??
I totally agree that chinese is the hardest to learn. Although my 1st language is chinese, but I have to admit that although I can speak fluently but couldn't write well. There is just too many different wordings....its not that you can pronouns the word when you know A-Z like English. Every word has its own pronounciation and its own meaning. For me, I think Malay is the easiest to learn...seriously I can write a Malay essay better than Chinese essay. Korean and Japanese is consider ok to me...I used to learn Korean in a language centre, its not really easy or too difficult. Just that we have to pay more attention in making sentences because the structure is different from English.

I don't know about other languages.
Chinese is my second language, so I know that Chinese is not an easy language to learn.I think Korean and Japanese are easy to learn.I can say that from hearing that language.

My first language is Cantonese, but I learned that in traditional form... Mandarian in simplified form is hella easy though. But Vietnamese is probably the easiest Asian language IMO.

RE: Which Asian language is the easiest to learn??
Id have to say korean is easiest because japanese is only easy till you get to the chinese writing which it then screws people up. Chinese is probably harderst one though.

RE: Which Asian language is the easiest to learn??
I think that chinese is pretty easy to learn because my best friend is chinese and I go over to her house everyday, and now, I know a lot of Chinese just by listening to her family talk.
