It was Sailor Moon, amazingly enough. I look back with something akin to bewilderment, because nowadays I like anime like Naruto.

As a kid I adored animes like Maya the Bee and Moomins... But what actually got me hooked when I was older was Get Backers. It's just so funny and the plot is awesome... It has all the elements that I like... ^^

Inuyasha did it for me. I used to watch all those cartoons and things like Sailor Moon and whatnot, too. But Inuyasha definitely set me off.

My first anime was Sailor Moon, then Kiss me Licia, then Georgie, Candy Candy, Lidia,and others....but Sailor Moon....is awesome...i am still watching it ...

My first anime when I was a kid was Doraemon and then I stopped watching before starting again with Pokemon which got me hooked with other anime until now.

omg i love this topic brings back so many memories! before i was in school or about to i watched Dragon Ball Z with my brother, i also watched G Gundam i love that series! even though im a girl i dont know i still liked how the cartoons had better plots then american ^^ and then when i was older like 5 or 6 i whached sailormoon i still do! still one of my top. Also i would come home every day after school and up until like 4th grade i watched pokemon

I think the first anime I ever watched was Fruit Basket. If it wasn't, it was definitly one of the firsts!
