their actors, scenery, music and the way the story developed.the actors are really good at crying scene it sometime make me feel like..."duh..what a cry baby"..but it just shows that they are really good in playing their role and portraying their feeling.

Is it the story? Is it the actors? What do you think are the ingredients that makes Korean Dramas interesting to watch?

An interesting and addictive drama consists of many elements. The storyline, actors/actresses, sceneries, filming techniques, costumes (fashion), and much much more. I'll just focus on the main ones though.

First, is the storyline. I'm not sure if you all notice, apart from watching the hot main korean actors/actresses appear in the first couple of episodes to each Korean Drama, most stories start off with a very slow tempo, some maybe be kinda boring to watch especially on the very first episode. The very first (few) episode(s) provides a somewhat detailed background of the main characters in the drama series to set the stage and understandings behind the characters personality and actions done throughout the series. However, for most who continues on watching each character becomes well-built and the story will begin to grasp our hearts with emotion and twist.

As mentioned above, actors/actresses are one of the must-haves. Apart from being good looking, they can all act well. They make us believe that they are actually the characters they are acting as. I'm not sure about how other people think, but whenever I see someone over-acting in a scene, it spoils the whole meaning of it.

The backgound sceneries, especially most of the outdoor ones provides us with the feeeling of when (the season) and the approximate time (year) the story happened. Whether it is the falling snowflakes, the high mountains, or the clear blue waters, combined with the characters situated in them makes the perfect mix -- Romantic and unforgettable clips.

RE: What makes Korean dramas interesting to watch?

The deep, intricate yet well-thought out plots, how they capture nature's beauty in almost every shot (making the most ordinary scene look spectacular), the talented actors, the heart-wrenching soundtracks, and the moving dialogues.

RE: What makes Korean dramas interesting to watch?

The profound roles that the actors/actresses play, the core human values, the culture/customs portrayed, and the idea that people's lives are intertwined for better or for worse.
