im not really into japanese drama so i can only recommend latest korean drama which currently/recently aired here in the phil. coffee prince, lovers, the legend, princess hours. FULL HOUSE is also great, though its a little bit old now considering thise numerous new series now i i think you'll love this too, try it.

i have to admit, coffee prince is the best. it's not sad and weepy like stairway to heaven or winter sonata. it's more believable and tolerable than fullhouse. you actually [mostly] want her to end up with the main guy in the end.
definitely the drama to watch...
and if that doesn't convince anyone,
the guys are hot!!! and girls are cute... and it's got a great story line...
