amped points is just great because with this you'll be able to see your worth and its fun seeing it that you'll have a lot of points which means you are contributing more.

What is Ampedpoints?
These points will be used to redeem prizes, win contests, or they can be traded among forum users for services.

Amped Points are earned for posting, making threads, and adding polls. You will earn 2 points per reply as well as 4 points for every thread made. The catch is that only posts that are 40 characters long will earn points. So simply posting things like "WOW amazing" will not earn anything.

Also there are several forums that do not earn points. The anything forum, help forum, and requests forum will not earn points. This is because these forums are not really discussion forums, and it is easy to spam to get a lot of points in these forums.
