[/color][/size][/font]i've been in a relationship with a guy for almost 4 years. prob is, he thinks of me as his gf. i dont. to me, he's the substitute older brother that i've never have. now he talks continuously of love and marriage and it's making me feel very guilty. he's of different religion and lives across the ocean from me... i don't wanna lose his friendship but he makes me feel so mean for telling him to find another woman to love.
wat to do? help???

i think first you should talk to him and see how he feels. Be honest to him. If you drag this any longer the deeper your problems will be. good luck!

Well...you may have to be clearer...maybe something like..."we can only be friends and no more than that"

Strange reading this because I just had the same situation. He was not happy with the my response above, but in the long run, I think it is better for me to hurt him a little now than to hurt him a lot later...

well you should talk to him...try to find the right time...i don't know when but that time will come eventually because you have to tell him...you cant wait too long...otherwise it will become too late....maybe this is the only way...it is to talk to him....i think that is the only way he will really understand you....good luck

go straighten up all the stuff before it mess-up really bad, hmm i scared if you keep on delay just because dont want to hurt him or loose friendship you will hurt him more later....

thanks everybody, for taking the time to help me with my woe...anyway, i've taken ur advices and i made it very clear to him dat i only consider him as friend and nothing else...he took it down quite well...but honestly, my ego's bruised...i 'd have thought dat he'd fight for me or whatever, but no...he said ok quite easily...it's not like i was gonna fall to his persuasion or what-so-ever, but...well,whodoesn't have ego, right??? nvm...
