Has your computer ever gotten a virus? If so, how did it catch it and how bad did it affect your computer.

I got a virus before, everytime I went online, on the top of my browser there would be these huge like wingding type letters in different bright colours *like the ones you find in MS paint* and then it's a link. So we clicked on it and it sent us to this asian porno site. And... we don't know how we got it, but it was just disturbing because.. well think about it. It'd be pretty bad. So we had to clear our whole harddrive. Lucky for us, we were still young and didn't lose anythign tooo valuable.

i got one and it was really bad everything just stopped working and i had to buy a whole new computer

ouch, that's gotta be a pain. I had one that messed up my MSN and it kept sending everyone random jibberish every minute lol. Everyone on my list was pissed off at me

I hate those ones, they send these disturbing photos and messages. Just so stupid. I don't know why someone would create a virus like that though.

Lol too much free time on people's hands probably. Also to probably annoy people to a certain extent.

There was this one emoticon on MSN that looked like I was downloading a virus, and I got it right after I cleaned out my computer and I totally freaked out on the person. But then I found out that it was just a stupid emoticon -_-;

oh hahahah I have the emoticon. So funny to trick people with it but now too much people know about it. There was one that looked pretty real since it had the decline and the accept thing. Too bad it accepted automatically making it seem real fake. I remember one of my friend's kept saying swear words to me saying to "stop it" and I said it was fake..........she even restarted her computer too

Sounds like something I would do, I was so afraid, but then I did save the emoticon as well XD
