I just recently found out about this so I wanted to let others know just in case you don't.. I will also sticky this so it wont get bumped back since it is VERY useful..

Megaupload happy hour is 6 hours of a free premium account... Yes 6 hours of a FREE premium account. That means NO download limits and since most of our movies and series are hosted on MU this is VERY useful..

To gain access to this just simply download and install the megupload toolbar. You must also make a free megaupload account and be logged in.

Don't trust the toolbar? Well here's an alternative.. If you're using Firefox download the Megafix Addon. Once installed and enabled go to tools>Megafix then click Enable Premium Happy Hour. You still have to wait for the happy hour to kick in in your time zone and you also must be logged in with a free MU account but this is just an alternative for those who don't want the toolbar. There are NO viruses, spyware or adware with the toolbar..

This can be used on Mozilla Firefox or IE. Not sure if the toolbar works for any others.. After you installed it you should see this .. If it's gray then it means it's inactive and you'll have to wait when happy hour begins.. When it's orange click it and WAM 6 full hours of unlimited downloads (at least I believe 6 hours, might be more or less)... Also I'm not sure but I believe you must go to Megaupload.com in order to see the happy hour logo.This can be done EVERY day so take advantage of this.

Downside however is there is a certain time of day you can only do this.. The hours are as follows. Also apparently this only works for people in the states though I'm not certain..

9:00 pm - 3:00 am Eastern
8:00 pm - 2:00 am Central
7:00 pm - 1:00 am Mountain

whoa yeah this is definitely very useful. However, recently theres been programs that seem to be able to bypass megaupload called CMS grabber. I downloaded it and wasn't able to use it properly. Maybe if i can use it later, I will post the guide.

I heard that they've updated since the CMS grabber came out and now it doesn't work anymore. I'm not sure though but it just might still work for certain people if it does then heck yes post that tut xD lol but if it don't then the happy hour is just another option for everyone.

I have MU toolbar installed a few weeks ago but I don't have the MU Happy Hour button... I only have MU toolbar and an arrow up which are both in orange... mmm I'm in a Sad Hour right now... lol... maybe it only works in US...

Ah that's too bad. CMS grabber did look pretty good.

Try going to megaupload.com and see if you can see the happy hour logo on the toolbar (it should be gray if it's not time yet) if not try to redownload and reinstall the toolbar if you got that toolbar a long time ago, then go to megaupload.com again and see if you can see it.. Also remember it only works for a certain time of the night. For me it’s 8pm-2am central time so check your time zone.

I've read this discussion in some other forums..if I'm not mistaken, it only works in certain countries =( But then again I'm not sure. I have the megaupload toolbar but I cant see the happy hour button

yeah, there's country limits again!!! but if one uses a working proxy from US, it'll work... I haven't tried it so I don't know if it'll work...

Oh maybe you're right. That's to bad that they only makes features like that available only to a certain country... I call it discrimination!!!!
