Will Asians Rule Again in the 2009 World Hip Hop Dance Championships?
The 2009 USA and World Hip Hop Dance Championships are just a few days away, and anticipations are on the rise if all time favorites will make it again to the top or new favorites will be introduced.
One thing is for sure, the 2006 and 2008 World Champion for the Adult division, Philippine All Stars, will be back to defend their title. They will be flying to Los Angeles on July 25, spend the next day at the Delano Philippine Weekend '09, Central Cali Hip Hop Showdown, and after which will proceed to Las Vegas for the 8th USA Hip Hop Championship and World Hip Hop Championship to be held on July 27 until August 2, 2009 at the Loews Lake Las Vegas Resort and at Orleans Arena for the final competition.
Kaba Modern of USA, another favorite dance crew composed of Asian Americans,
will be competing again for the second time this year. They grabbed the silver and bronze on the Adult division of the USA Hip Hop Championship and the World Hip Hop Championship, respectively.
Other Asian top dance crews of last year are Kana-Boon of Japan who won the silver in the World Championship (Varsity Division), Next Jr. and Sound Energy of Japan who won gold and silver respectively in the World Championship (Junior Division).
Other Asian countries including India will be competing against over 1500 of the world's top dancers.
With this high caliber dance crews all throughout the world, who will reign world dance supremacy?
