Hong Kong actor Edison Chen of the 2008 sex scandal that ended careers and caused a huge media storm has broken his more than a year long silence.

On his return to Hong Kong, Chen talked exclusively to CNN's Anjali Rao and reveals his side of the story from the women involved to his motive in taking the pictures, the effects of the scandal to his career, health, family, and others.

The full and exclusive CNN interview will be shown on Wednesday, June 3, both accessible online or on your own TV sets.

Whoahhh, this is still going on?.. I thought this would have died down by now, it's been a while hasn't it? Anyway, I wonder what he's gonna say about this in his interview, I don't really know who's side I'm on, the girls... or his... Maybe both

People should just move on. Everyone has moved on with their life...Cecilia is expecting her 2nd child, Gillian is making her comeback in the Entertainment industry. As for Edison, even though he will have to endure with his bad past and lack of judgement of taking those sex photos, we shouldn't punish him for his personal matters.

Much less, it been a whole year and they still care about this ordeal. This tells you how China takes the word "sex" in a whole new level. These people need to move on and get on with the reality because they should care more for more controversial issues like teenage pregnancy than a damn sex scandal.

Sorry for being so blunt, but their are better things to worry about than this.

i totally agree with you fake_innocent..everyone just needs to move on with their lives since those who've been effected by it have..no need to keep bringing it up and re-living the pain. what's done is done..and no matter how many times people talk about it and ask the same old questions, it's not going to make any difference.

as for cecilia expecting a 2nd child...where have i been? lol...did not know that..well, congrats to her and nicholas.

ok, back to this...china does take anything "sex" related to heart. anything that is sex related or implies sex is deemed inappropriate..even though it may just be a music video that shows a little too much skin..or a face to face lip lock...seriously, this is becoming old news...it has been over a year now since this scandal broke out and yes! there are definitely more important news out there that reporters should cover rather than a scandal like this.

I agree with you guys that they should move on... and I think they already did except for Chen who still have no career in the showbiz but I guess in the part of CNN, they saw an opportunity seeing that it's been a while since Chen's been in Hong Kong and people know the other side and not his... and I think this will all die down eventually since the pic distributor has been tried and all... Anyways, I was shocked when I saw Chen's face in CNN. I was monitoring the missing Air France plane and here pops Chen on one of the ads

hahaha, that sounds so uhh subtley random? I dunno what word to use XD But going a bit off topic here - O.O I wonder where that plane has gone.... When I heard it disappeared over the Atlantic, I thought of the Bermuda Triangle lol X_X hmm..

And going back to what 4jpz said, I forgot Edison still has no career, I guess I understand why he wants to do this interview now, at first I thought he just wanted some spotlight, but he's just trying to stabalise his life now I suppose... Ah anyway, I hope this all blows over soon -.- At least its taught others not to do what he did and avoid another scandal that affected so many people.

To some extent,I do agree with you guys,and I can feel you do know something about this scandal.personally speaking,I bet Twins ah Q is a feak,see how her face looked happy when being captured?But previously at Malaysia, she cried like a hell and pretended so pitiful.

I prmoise this can represent most of teenagers' inclinations in china.

But what might a problem is the transformation of chinese traditional culture,especially for the comparativelly conservative mentality,that will not be acomplished in a short time.
I stand on neither side of the parties in this scandal,but I kind of support Edison,sometimes we do something that we can't comprehend,we do not understand what we were doing at that moment.
What's done is done,celebrities have their privacy as well as all ordinary people,I do hope sometimes people could understand this point,and a sex scandal like this ,will never happen again.
