Charice sang Because You Love Me on top of the "Good Housekeeping" float. Prior to singing, she was introduced as "... the show stopper on the show boat is the Internet phenom from the Philippines..."



Charice Pempengco will be at Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York on November 27, 2008 with Miley Cyrus, David Archuleta, and other stars.

She stated on an interview that Miley Cyrus is one of her inspirations and said: "Gusto kong makita si Miley Cyrus kasi hinahangaan siya ng mga kabataan sa States." (I would like to meet Miley Cyrus because she's been admired by the youth in the States.)

With regards to David Archuleta, she stated: "Siyempre nagagalingan ako sa pagkanta niya. Humahanga din ako sa kanya kasi galing siya sa American Idol." (Of course, I'm impressed with the way he sings. I am also a fan because he sings very well on American Idol.)

Other commitments will be the promotion for David Foster's newest album "Hitman: David Foster & Friends" on November 15, 2008. She has one track included along with Kenny G., Michael Buble, Josh Groban, Brian McKnight, Katharine McPhee, Andrea Bocelli, Celine Dion amongst others.

She will also be appearing on "Good Morning America" this November 19, 2008. See post # 5 for the video

Since I've mentioned about her guesting in "Good Morning America" last November 19, might as well post the video of her interview and performance, singing "I Will Survive" with David Foster on piano.

i saw her performance. her voice is amazing! i'm pretty sure she'll become popular if she comes out with an album in the states.
