XD the only one thats ever impressed any guy I met is the gaming thing. They don't care that I can sing or dance. And I guess maybe they just expect the cooking? I guess I kinda agree with the ones for women. I do like guys into music. I think the reason guitar beats piano is because piano's aren't portable lol. Can't drag your piano around to go woo the ladies.

one thing that i believe impresses the opposite sex is the ability to speak a foreign language.

Nice list, but I don't think one should make it a hobby. It's a serious thing I guess.

RE: Top 10 Hobbies to Impress the Opposite Sex
I soooooooo agree with RoShbob: "The hobby list for women is shallow and matronly".

First off, cooking aint a hobby. People cook because they need to EAT. Like...duh!

Secondly, magic would appeal to women, like guys to a florist. It's a WOAH effect. Temporary. I wouldn't wanna date a guy who pulls out hundreds of handkerchiefs from his sleeve.

I agree on the being fit and the dancing part for the guys. I like guys who are fit and who can dance. I'm more of a sporty adventure loving gal, so naturaly, I'd be attracted to guys who are sporty and adventure loving. I'd be a plus if the guy know how to cook and operate the washing machine. You know, tough but refined.

This article was really useful and an eye opener for me.. I agree to most of the things the writer is talking about.. But I disagree about the guitar thing.. I don't think its really cool to play guitar..

RE: Top 10 Hobbies to Impress the Opposite Sex
You know to be honest those are pretty unrealistic to be honest. How many people really dance, these days it's not a lot. Who has the time to waste. Well maybe if you're like still in high school. Cooking, let's just point something out. If guys date girls and end up marrying them ie they go from girlfriends to wives, what do they magically learn how to cook when they gain the title of wife. If you can't cook as a girlfriend then you shouldn't be expected to as a wife and if you as a guy are going to expect your wife to cook for you, you probably are going to expect your girlfriend, unless that is you aren't serious and are just playing around.
Modeling is NOT a hobby. It is SERIOUS hard sometimes grueling work. sports and music I can't argue with, gaming probably get away with it but lets face it boys. And being a woman I can say this. Why would women play video games when we can play much more interesting games manipulating you guys. The stakes are higher and the rewards greater.
