What you're supposed to do is eat small snacks,such as an apple or other fruits, every couple of hours to keep your metabolism working the whole day.
Also remember to eat breakfast and then do some form of work out [walks are good] in the morning to kick start the process.
Some types of vitamin tablets are also good, they can help the stomach acids break down fat.
Drink lots of water too.

if you want a faster metabolism you should eat smaller meals throughout the day....instead of 3 big meals, it would be 6 smaller meals throughout 1 day...after a while of doing this, your body will be used to getting food with a shorter amount of time in between meals your body responds by digesting everything faster...just don't over eat when you get hungy.

also combine with a good cardio workout, like running or biking....you should keep your heart rate up above 100 beats per minute for at least 15min

i read a study one time about this... drinking more water increase metabolism... i can't remember why but it's supposed to work.... also eating healthier foods helps.... whole grains.... if you don't eat them now you won't like them at first probably but after awhile you start to like them Smile
don't eat processed foods those are bad too.... a few years ago i really needed to lose some weight... i lost 30 lbs in 3 months by changing what i eat and drink.... 20% of your daily calories come from liquids O_o
drinking water instead of juices, sodas and other high calorie drinks with help you cut calories Smile

Hi, umm... the 100 situps/crunches everyday won't work. You need to rest your stomach so do it every other day. You'll need to eat more leafy vegetables and fruits. They have lots of fiber and vegetables especially the green and leafy ones have cellulose in them. The stomach can't digest cellulose and that's how your metabolism speeds up. Eating spicy foods (or adding spices in food) is another thing that helps but only for a short period of time. Spices have a chemical that boost the metabolism. Note: Spices are 0 in CALORIES! Big Grin
And sleep early! Don't forget to drink lots of water! They really help Big Grin since you're doing situps/crunches, try doing push-ups too .... every other day Big Grin

jogging is good but i think anything cardio(things that get your heart pumping) helps in terms of full body work out. but walking can work as well but if you walk it'll need to be for at least 30 minutes for you to start burning fat.
