RE: the sims
my sister absolutely loves teh sims. i suggest getting the sims 2. its a game where you simulate life pretty much. you make a family and have them interact with people/items just like life. very time consuming and you'll probably get hooked. it'll lighten your wallet though since the expansions cost about the same amount as the game and therese currently about 4 out. the best part about the sims is that you can download custom content online which means virtually anything you want can be made and put into the game.

RE: the sims
OHHHHH!! I can't believe I missed this thread XD

I love The Sims, so much fun! I haven't tried Sims 2 yet, but I'm hoping to get it for my birthday. I remember for Sims, my cahracter kept crying because she didn't have a love life. har har.

I have Sims Urbz for the PS2 and it's just as addicting. It's a bit harder with the analog stick though. And then my sister has Sims 2 on the PSP but it's not the same as Sims 2 for PC.

RE: the sims
The Sims II is sooo addicting! I have no idea why. It's really repetitive- you create a family and then everyday you try to improve the skills, meet new people, go to work/school, cook, eat, shower, use the restroom, make love, etc... its the same thing over and over. I get tired of it after playing for hours straight every single day for like a month; then, when a new expansion comes out, I get addicted again. Gahhh

RE: the sims
I am a SIM addict too!! If there's a new sim game out, I usually buy it. Sometimes I play the whole day, even through the night, because it's sooo addictive.

Live, love, laugh and learn! Cool
