i agree! the sims 2 is so fun to play! i never really thought of myself as a pc gamer until my bro got the sims 2. it is so addicting that sometimes i would put of studying to play it. hahhaa..but i read that the sims 2 can actually be educational. especially the sims 2 out for business. it teaches you how to somewhat run a business and be successful.
it was so sad when my sim almost died from getting burned while trying to put out a fire. but luckily i saved my sims life
i have the sims 2 nightlife, seasons, holiday stuff, and glamor stuff. i agree that the expansion packs are pretty expensive, but if you're patient and wait for them to go on sale like it did, it is not that bad. usually when a new sims expansion pack comes out, the store will knock $10-12 off to get you to buy it and after awhile, the extra stuff can go down to only be $10. you just have to keep an eye on the sales ads. i usually see these sales on the circuit city ads.
i love the seasons expansion pack, cuz it really makes it realistic with the changing weather. when it hadn't come out yet and i had the holiday stuff, i didn't really feel like it was xmas or halloween when i decorated the place. but with seasons, it will make it seem more realistic.
i think my next project is to create sims of my fav asian celebs. if you haven't seen it yet, check out some of the youtube videos that some people made of rain and probably some other asian celebs. i've seen pretty cool sims videos of asian celebs.
for those who haven't tried this game, should totally get your hands on at least one of the expansion packs.
