The Best Final Fantasy Game?

I am going for final fantasy 8 because it the first game I got for ff serie and the recent versions don't seem to be that good. Example is ffx. I don't like the ending, and the storyline was a bit confusing if you don't focus on it. I also dislike the Aeon images such as bahamut. It looks way better in 7 8 or 9.

I think the best final fantasy game is the 7 because it's just different from the 6 a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I reckon final fantasy 8 was great. ff8 was my first final fantasy. ff7 was a breakthrough but the characters sorta looked... weird after playing ff8. There's like such a big difference in graphics between ff7 and ff8.

The FMV, song, story line all so awesome.
Even the summon is better than other FF game.
Its my first RPG n will the best forever.

I would have to say FF7 because of its awesome story line and innovative battlesystem / gameplay. Looks like a lot of other people agree with me.

i put 7, but its hard to say, since i haven't played 9 or 11, and only a little bit of 8.

Hard choice because 7 & 8 are both my favorites........ but when it comes down to it 7 had a better story and was more entertaining to play. I actually looked forward to getting out of school making up some excuse for my friends when they wanted me to visit and going straight home to play FF7. I wasn’t really like that with 8. 10 I was somewhat like that but not as much with 7.
