South Korea's government and family members of the late former president, Roh Moo-hyun agreed to hold a public funeral for the leader, whom jumped to his death after a bribery scandal that left him feeling ashamed.

"It is more desirable to send the former president off in an honorable and courteous way befitting a former president and to allow as many people as possible to pay reverence and praise him," Cheon Ho-seon, a spokesman for Roh when he was president, said in a statement.

Roh was questioned last month by prosecutors on suspicion that his family took nearly $6 million from a shoe company CEO.

It's nice to know that in spite of the scandal he's still being revered and honored!

A lot of the Korean celebs are putting song dedications in their minihompy like Lee Jun Ki playing Michael Jackson's You're Not Alone, and others also did the same like Moon Geun Yeong, Kim Min Seon, Bae Doo Na, Sweet Sorrow In Ho Jin, Kim Yeong Woo, MayBee, Kim Di Ji and 2AM Jo Kwon, and many more. Aside from this mini-tributes, some programs canceled their programs last weekend to pay tribute... and some programs esp. the music shows of the different Korean networks are canceling their live broadcast on the 29th coz it's the day of Roh's funeral service.
