Hanazakari no Kimitachi e (Special Episode)

I have just read a news about Hana Kimi. lol
just wanna post this...
Here it goes:

Last summer's "Hanazakari no Kimitachi e" drama series is returning for a one-episode special. Starring Maki Horikita, Shun Oguri, and Toma Ikuta, the show was very popular, especially among female viewers. It averaged 17.3% ratings, with the final episode reaching 21.0%.

According to Fuji TV, the special will take place half a year after the series' end. With Osaka Gakuen getting ready for an upcoming Valentine's Day event, Sano (Oguri) and Nakatsu (Ikuta) reflect on the final week of their last summer vacation, which falls into the timeline of the original series between episodes 7 and 8. The special also includes a graduation scene and addresses the relationship between Mizuki (Horikita) and Sano.

Filming begins on Wednesday, but no broadcast date has been specified yet.

ooooo interesting getting to see the japanese version of Hana Kimi for the last time! lol. But chea i like Maki Horikita, i think she's pretty hehe. Shun Oguri, you already know he's hot haha and Toma Ikuta he's pretty cute haha. But ya will be waiting to see this special episode lol. =]. Always did wonder about Sano and Mizuki's relationship lol. cause ya in the manga, there were parts that showed them as a couple lol, in the live serie, not much haha, just a lil kiss when Mizuki left! lol. >.< haha.

i read some where on some web site that they;re going to do the special about when mizuki's friend comes from the U.S to visit her. I can't wait too see it ^_^

i haven't watched the japanese version yet...i've only watched the taiwanese version casted by ella chen & wu chun~~~

sorry hanakimi taiwan fans, but the japanese version is leagues better! we just finished a marathon screening of all twelve episodes and it was well worth it. my bro thought me and my girlies (his daughters) will last only 3-4 episodes .... boy! was he ever wrong! he underestimated the power of teeny bopper thrill.
at 5am we were chanting, "episode 10 episode 10".
I know Oguri Shun is not as arrestingly handsome as Wu Chun (sorry Oguri fans) but he's such a good actor that he made his brooding performance sympathetic and totally crushable!
we're also watching the taiwan version on network tv but like my sis said, "If Hanakimi japan is freshly squeezed orange juice with pulp bits, Hanakimi taiwan is diluted artificially orange-flavored water."
although the taiwan version has strong lead performances in ella and wu -- the supporting cast falls flat. The japanese version has three very strong performances in Oguri, Maki Horikita, and Ikuta Toma surrounded by a supporting cast of wildly funny and heart-warming characters in the persons of the other dorm mates. They're so ridiculous you can't help but laugh.
The japanese version pulled off a gut-wrenching finale because of the supporting cast. I don't know how the taiwan version did it but I don't think they can upstage the japanese version's finale.
We're so looking forward to watching the special. I heard it's going to be shown sometime in June. Maybe we'll do another marathon before watching the special.
