It's too bad that I only discovered this forum AFTER the megaupload debacle. Would have been wonderful to be able to download all these Tagalog shows for my mom, as well as some of the Korean and Chinese dramas/movies. But thanks to 4jpz and prexy for your work with the original uploads, and hopefully all the links will be replaced in due time. I'll just keep watching the board until then.

About the pinoy torrent sites, I hadn't even known that they existed! How strict are they? And how does one go about joining?

P.S. If I'm not allowed to ask about other sies here, please edit my post. Didn't see any rules saying that it's not allowed when I read both rules and FAQ sections though...

@sandairina: Sadly, I can't help with new series now... my source shut down today!!!

@irian: Hey there! Nice to see you on board It's okay to ask about other sites... As for the Pinoy torrent sites, unfortunately, the one I get my files from folded too. Just today! Imagine that! The site shut down due to reason untold but I'm guessing it's because of the copyright laws... but I'm hoping that my other source will step it up and take over what the other site has ended... It's the last site standing that I know off and as for joining the said site, you need an invite and the registration is seasonal, which they announced on the day itself, so no way in finding out beforehand unless you login every each day!

In the meantime that I'm lacking a source, I'll try to reupload old series/movies... but when I find a good source, I'll try to go back in updating the currently airing series...

@4jpz - before PTN closed yesterday, i was able to ask linyx if he can continue uploading at ITT. linyx told me if PTN is going to close he will also stop uploading. i even begged linyx to continue but he totally said "NO" :-( Missy said she will continue to upload a couple shows at IRC. i'm there right now trying to download but its not working yet. i guess she's still trying to fix it. so we just have to wait and search around for another source. i'm hoping linyx will change his mind though and continue uploading at ITT. if not linyx i'm also hoping that someone else from ITT can upload some shows. its just sad that alot of the sites are closing. :-(

I think they have politics going on between the two sites, that's why they can't go back to ITT... lol... I'm not sure, though. It's just a hunch... Dang it! Unstable filesharing system right now! I can't even access BayFiles now... let's wait and see...

Oh well. Guess I'll have to resort to Quiapo DVDs then. Had been planning to get the entire May Bukas Pa series for my mom once it's re-upped, but seems it's one of the casualties of the great megaupload wipe-out. I'll keep dropping by here to check on everyone's progress in rebuilding the site though.
