I post this thread is to warn other that they shld be careful if they want to get to know some1 on the internet..Thr r a lot of cheater around here n if u r not careful enuff,u might get cheated..I was 1 of the victim and i hope no1 will follow my step..So beware n take precaution if u r dating sum1 online..Thks..

Well, it's a no brainer, isn't it? One should never date anyone from the internet. I know of someone who was 18 at the time and had actually been convinced to meet him in Seattle. Fortunately, her dad found out and was able to stop her. Who knows what the consequences would have been. She might not have been too fortunate had her dad not stopped her.

As long as you use the internet safely, you should be fine. Never trust people over the internet, it's just too risky. Talking to them online is one thing, but when it comes to meeting up with them and such.. it gets too risky. It might be different if the person was older, but still..

yah Carmen was right...you dont know what will happen when you meet in person although im not saying that it happen all the time cause some people ended up happily after meeting in person

I have a friend in New York who i met on an online game several years ago.

She visited my house on her way to seeing family last year. It was nice.

they were nice, funny, and some are cute. maybe we should not use the word *never trust* but ofcourse be careful.
